A truly fantastic 1930s Art Deco dental cabinet by the American Cabinet Company. This piece features 24 drawers of increasing size from top to bottom. Each drawer opens via a ridged, black lacquered, wooden pull in the center of its face. Fourteen milk glass storage trays made to fit these drawers are included.
The metal case is finished in rosewood veneer with black lacquer accents. The removable upper surface is finished in a durable laminate. The central upper storage area has a wonderful lift-to-open mechanism in which the top is lifted causing the front to simultaneously lower. This opens to reveal a removable milk glass tray. Two small lift-top cubbies flank this central storage area. The left hand cubby is metal lined. The right hand cubby has a small lever which can be pulled to lock all of the drawers.
There is some light wear throughout but this piece is in wonderful condition for its age and use. See pics for details.
